Hannah Ritchie is a Melbourne based artist originally from UK seaside town Falmouth, Cornwall specialising in tattoo designs she creates herself using a mixture of pen and ink and digital artwork.
Her main focus and muse is working with the similarity our bodies have to organic shapes, those of nature- branches,leaves and florals that can wrap effortlessly with the flow of a unique and individual shape. She enjoys incorporating ornamental patterns found in tribal cultures with the botanical illustrations to capture a piece that is one of a kind.
She is very inspired by ancient Japanese tattooing styles, Persian & Polynesian Symbols, and old celestial artworks,
Alongside tattooing from one side of the world to the other Hannah has shown interest in collaborating pieces in the form of murals, lino print, fabric designs and book illustrations.
